Printed Carry Bags With Your Shop Name: Cost, Minimum Order, Artwork and Delivery

By · · printing, buying guide

Printed non woven carry bags with your shop name start at about ₹245 per kg for D-cut bags, or ₹13 a bag for full-colour stitched bags, plus a one-time block charge from ₹150. The minimum order is 10 kg for D-cut and handle bags, 200 bags for stitched bags and 1,000 for full-colour digital bags. Delivery is typically 15–20 days after you approve the design.

This guide explains what decides the price, what to send us, and how to keep the cost down — from a manufacturer that has been printing bags for shops in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka since 2011.

Step 1: Choose how your bag is printed

There are three ways to print a shop name, and the right one depends on your design and budget.

If your design is your shop name, logo and phone number, offset print is the economical choice. If it is a photograph, choose digital. For more on the laminated option, see our guide to BOPP bags.

Step 2: What it costs

Rates as published on 10 October 2026, ex-factory, for 50% advance and the balance at billing, before GST and freight. See today’s rates in the catalog →

BagRateMinimum
D-cut, single or double colour (80 GSM)₹245–₹266 per kg10 kg
Handle bag, single colour (80 GSM)₹265–₹286 per kg10 kg
Stitched bag with side panel (110 GSM)₹11.50–₹28 per bag200 bags
Full-colour digital bag (110 GSM)₹13–₹29.50 per bag1,000 bags
BOPP laminated digital bag (110 GSM)₹15.50–₹30.50 per bag1,000 bags

Within each range, the rate depends on three things:

  • Size, and for stitched bags the width of the side panel.
  • The value of your whole order. Every product has three rates: one for orders above ₹40,000, one for ₹20,000–₹40,000 and one for orders below ₹20,000.
  • Extras. A full-background print or a multi-colour design on a D-cut bag adds ₹20 per kg. The small 9 × 11 inch D-cut is printed on one side; printing both sides adds ₹30 per kg.

Two worked examples

  • 25 kg of single-colour D-cut bags: an order under ₹20,000, so ₹266 per kg = ₹6,650, plus a ₹150 block = ₹6,800 before GST and freight.
  • Full-colour 12 × 16 inch bags, 4 inch side panel: 1,000 bags at ₹17 = ₹17,000. Order 2,000 instead and the order crosses ₹20,000, so the rate drops to ₹16 a bag — ₹32,000 for twice the bags.

Step 3: Block charges, and how to pay them only once

For offset printing, each colour in your design needs a printing block (plate), which is a one-time charge on top of the bag price:

DesignOne-time useKept for a year
Single colour₹150₹300
Double colour₹400₹800
Three colour₹600—
Multi-colour or full-colour digital₹800₹1,600
BOPP laminated₹800—

The charge covers the same design printed on both sides. A different design on each side costs extra — ask us for a quote. Three ways to save:

  • Keep your block for a year if you reorder often — you pay once and every reorder is block-free. A single-colour design can also be made permanent for ₹500, as long as the size and design do not change.
  • Share one block across sizes. Sizes of similar width with the same print colour can use the same block: 10 and 12 inch, 12 and 14 inch, or 14 and 16 inch.
  • Keep the design year-free. Leave dates and “Diwali offer” lines off the bag, so leftover stock is still usable next season.

Step 4: Pick colours that print well

On white and ivory bags almost any ink works — red, blue, black, green, magenta, violet and brown — and two-colour combinations such as red with green, red with black, or red with blue look sharp.

On coloured fabric, keep to dark ink. Green, red and pink bags are printed in black, and light yellow bags in black or red. Two-colour printing is not offered on coloured fabric.

Step 5: What to send us

You do not need a designer or special software. On WhatsApp, send:

  1. Your design — a logo file, a visiting card, a photo of your shop board, or simply a photo of the bag you use now.
  2. The text exactly as it should appear: shop name, address, phone, in Telugu, English or both.
  3. The bag type, size and quantity, or tell us what you sell and we will suggest one.

We reply with a rate the same day and send a proof of the design before anything is printed. Check every phone number on the proof — it is the one thing customers notice first when it is wrong.

Step 6: How long it takes

For festival seasons — Sankranti, Dasara, Diwali and the wedding months — order four to six weeks ahead, because every shop orders at the same time.

Common questions

Can you print in Telugu? Yes. Most of the bags we print carry Telugu, English or both. Send the text exactly as you want it and check it on the proof.

Do I pay the block charge every time I reorder? Only if you choose one-time use. Keep the block for a year (₹300 for single colour) and reorders within that year have no block charge.

Can I order different sizes with one design? Yes. If the sizes are close in width and the print colour is the same, they can often share one block — 10 and 12 inch, for example.

Is there a printing charge on top of the bag price? The bag rate includes printing. The only extra is the one-time block charge, plus GST and freight.

Can I get a small trial order? The minimums are 10 kg for D-cut and handle bags and 200 for stitched bags. Ask on WhatsApp if you need fewer.
